Green Eyes Comparison

I also had a friend that was searching for a spare set of Very Vicky special stock eye chips.  To help her out I took these photos:

L to R: Brain Worm Apple, Very Vicky special stock, Angelica Eve special stock, Brain Worm Lime

I thought the Brain Worm Lime to be the closest.  Funny enough 2 out of these 4 girls have moved on to new homes.  I think I may be a serial Blythe owner.

Coincidentally, Angelica Eve is without knicker in this photo group, also.

Skin Tone Comparisons

Cousin Olivia is the strangest colored Blythe that I have ever seen. I've tried to explain it to someone who owns Very Vicky and, more recently, Simply Vanilla. I had taken photos of CO with VV before but it still did not really reflect how white she really is. This time I paired her with Very Vicky, Simply Vanilla, and Angelica Eve.  Angelica Eve is very pale but with a pink tone.  I think I successfully captured CO's unique color in these photos:

I also photographed CO with Can Can Cat.  They were both released in 2008. I thought it would be interesting to show how different they are with being release in the same year.  Can Can Cat no longer has her stock lips.  She came to me damaged from her pull chord melting onto her lips and chin.

Someone on Flickr as if CO's hand is melted- no, it is zit cream.

Weekend work

This weekend I bought four more shadow boxes (still half off at Hobby Lobby!).  I started a new room for my Toy Story rement, Andy's room.  It was actually my husband's idea.  This is all I have so far:

And, my daughter's room box received the final item:

No disco ball though. Maybe in the future.

Edit to add- I just realize that I never published the post about my daughter's room box...about to do so now.

I made this outfit this weekend:

I was going to post this outfit for sale in my Etsy shop, but I like it too much.  I sell all the good stuff so I decided to keep this for myself.

I should have listed things in my shop this weekend, but my "photo" table, aka dinning room table, is a mess. I have skirts and a pair of bloomers read to go.

I've been thinking about starting a shop section for under garments.  I enjoy making the bloomers and thought about giving slips a try. Maybe I will start a pattern for under shirts.  I made up a pattern for my Susie Sad Eyes so it should be too hard to adapt it to Blythe.

In hindsight, I really should have done more sewing this weekend.

Knitting up a Storm for Blythe

I have been attempting make clay piggy noses for a Nymphadora Tonks kit, but getting them to stay with elastic hasn't worked.  As you can see it is noticeable but this is an improvement; it is actually staying on the face!  I have the first part of my Luna Lovegood kit started.  Butterbeer cork necklace to keep the nargles away!   I hope to expand on these ideas and sell them in my Etsy shop.

I have had a pretty productive couple of days.  I have written two new patterns.  I have one pending approval from the original project knitter (an old FO of TinyOwlKnits) and one waiting to be tested.

Here they are:

Tudor Pants for Blythe

Nymphador Jacket for Blythe, also.  They have a cute cable in the back to give it flare.
