Green Eyes Comparison

I also had a friend that was searching for a spare set of Very Vicky special stock eye chips.  To help her out I took these photos:

L to R: Brain Worm Apple, Very Vicky special stock, Angelica Eve special stock, Brain Worm Lime

Brain Worm Apple, Very Vicky special stock

Very Vicky special stock, Angelica Eve special stock

Very Vicky special stock, Brain Worm Lime

I thought the Brain Worm Lime to be the closest.  Funny enough 2 out of these 4 girls have moved on to new homes.  I think I may be a serial Blythe owner.

Coincidentally, Angelica Eve is without knicker in this photo group, also.

Halloween Project, cont.

This past weekend I spent Sunday sewing for my Blythes.  I am worked on meeting my goal of all 13 Blythes wearing costumes for Halloween.  I am not too picky if it is bought, altered, or handmade.

Luna is a bat.  The dress is an Ixtee (or something like that) and the wings are felt that attach using clear elastic. The hair bow was the hardest part.  I think this one was a success.

I bought the polymer clay button from my yarn shop.  I am going to try and make some.

Next up, George as the Mad Hatter.  I only have the hat finished.  It is felt, ribbon and a portion of a hair bow. I bought the hair bow from Hot Topic and it broke immediately.  I really looks cute on the hat though!

The tea cup is from a Rement set.  It is fashioned after green depression glass.  Very, very cute!

I haven't figured out the rest of the costume yet.

Soon I am going to make a Witch costume.

Meet George

Meet George. This is my second the George in my little doll family.  She is a Takara Friendly Freckles.  I got her in a dolly trade (I traded Mod Molly who was the previous George).

George is awaiting her new eye chips.  Apple or Lime green, I can't remember which color I ordered.  I am going to replace the awful orange chips most likely.

Other than that George is going to be all natural!

Here George is in her stock clothing:

In this photo George is wearing a sweater that I knitted months ago.  It fits her coloring and stock shorts, socks and boots so well that it seems I made it just for her!

Fleur and George

Simply Vanilla, Fleur

Friendly Freckles, George

Simply Vanilla and Friendly Freckles

I picked up Simply Vanilla from the post office today! Poor thing had to spend the weekend there.  I love her hair! It is so white and shimmery! She definitely suspicion she is a veela. Or, part veela, so her name is Fleur.  Even more fitting than my last Fleur.

I will get a photo up later!

Friendly Freckles was out for delivery when I checked! Yay! I think she will be George, also.  I really want a doll named George.  Photos coming soon too!

Mohair-y Future?

Once I get over my most recent spending spree, I have been thinking about either purchasing a RBL scalp to reroot or rerooting my AGD custom, Snowden.

I want a yellow blonde similar to this:

Stephanie, from StephanieASmith Etsy shop, dyed these locks for a customer.  I prefer my locks to be more curly and short.  But, this photos is the general color idea.  Maybe even a little more yellow.

Pros and Cons:

Pros for RBL- it can fit 3 or 4 of my dolls.  The Cons- a scalp is about 40-60 dollars in addition to the mohair.

Pros for ADG-  she is already bought and paid for. The Cons- it will fit only one doll.

I think bought and paid for will most likely out weight the RBL.  Plus, I am too nervous to try and remove my RBL dolls' scalps.

This time when I reroot I am going to go light on the plugs underneath the hair.  Poor Lilith is pretty puffy. But still cute.

What have I been spending money on?

I put out a quarry via Blythe Kingdom for a My Best Friend Blythe's Chihuahua.  I really don't care for the doll all that much, but LOVE the chihuahua.

I asked, a long shot, someone trying to sale MBF if she would like to trade for a Mod Molly (more on this in a bit).  She already had one.  I decided to put out a WTB (want to buy) and first thing someone sent me a reply!

My little chihuahua is coming with her outfit too!

I also purchased 2 dresses, 2 shirts, and boots.  I hate making shirts so it was well worth it.

Wondering about Mod Molly?  I made a trade! I am getting a Friendly Freckles!!  Yay for trades!

Fr Fr is on the left.  This is wheatpennyjenny's photo.

I have an extra pair of eye chips that are turquoise Sakara flowers that will most likely replace the orange chips.

I bought Simply Vanilla, shhh!!! The hubby doesn't know.

Slouchy Hats

I added a new set of Slouch hats to my Etsy shop.  I recreated the photo layout and I like these photos, too.

Recognize the eyes from my banner?

I have nearly changed my mind about selling my Mod Molly, George. I haven't had any purchasing offers and if I trade I really want a Cloud 9 Bowl (or another red head). No offers on any red heads, one very tempting blue haired offer though.  I know myself, I would have to have a second blue haired doll and that is defeating my purpose of selling/trading her.

So, it seems George is hanging around. She may grow on me. She is so sly looking.  I should make her fox-themed items.

I hope to make "Harry Potter Fan Kits" for Blythe soon.   I want to this weekend but with a family reunion and (Saint, according to Rowan) Father's Day, I will be lucky to knit a little.

Hopefully Angelica Eve will be here soon! I can't hardly wait to see all of her eye chips- light blue, dark blue, brown, and green!

Naming my dolls has really been hard lately.  I STILL haven't named my second Black Blythe.  My factory is Lilith and my Fruit Punch is Pansy.  I think I may use Penelope and Fleur again. Doesn't Angelica Eve look like a Fleur?

FS Mod Molly

Okay, so I am sad to admit that I didn't like Mod Molly as much as anticipated. I am trying to sell her.  If interested please email me @  for specifics.
