Middies and more

I seem to have lost touch with my blog.  Not sure where the time has gone.

As a previous post said, I am working on re-designing some patterns.  I am also creating new ones! I have 3 new Middie patterns and 1 Petite pattern that are close to immediate release.

After those are ready I have another that I need to be tested.

Just a few updated things-

I am expecting Fleur home sometime in the next 2 or 3 weeks.  I was notified by China-Lilly yesterday that she was ready to fly back to the US.

My two new Middies made it to me last Friday!  Little Lily Brown has been named Lydia.  Milk and Honey is still nameless.  I will soon write a comparison between the Macaroon Q Tea Party and Little Lily Brown versus Milk and Honey.  Some things don't seem to be equal.

I have my Coraline (formerly known as Snowden) complete.  Now I am working on clothing and gathering toy items for her. Plus, I am planning a toy chest!

After much thought, I am removing Nymph's (Simply Guava) pink hair.  I am not a fan of pink. I purchased a Cappuccino Chat scalp for her!

I have started a face up on my Icy.  I feel bad that she does not have a name.  I like her red hair, but something is just not working for me. I hope to sell the Guava scalp to pay for some lemony yellow mohair.

Something else that has been going on Hybrids! I have Cat-ladies and a Deer-lady.

Pansy is saying good bye

For awhile now Pansy, Takara EBL Fruit Punch, has been unhappy here.  She is cute but I am feel less content with her.  Plus, I am feeling my Blythe family is getting out of hand.

I found a trade offer on Blythe Kingdom about a custom work for a trade of an EBL doll.  I jumped on it. I am sending Fleur, Simply Vanilla, on a spa vacation to China Lilly in Australia.  She will return home with face up, new lashes, 4 new eye chips (2 Brain Worm and 2 hand painted), custom pull cords and lip carving.

I am super happy with the trade.

Good bye, Pansy!

New addition!!

I got a middie!  She is super cute here is some photos:

Size comparison, Angelica Eve, Macaroon Q Tea Party, and Kitchen Queen.

She is perpetually sad looking.

Clothing by me.  I used the Puchi Collective patterns at a smaller ratio.

The poor girl doesn't have a name yet.

I also purchased/traded a SBL Skate Date from a friend.  I am contemplating lip carving and other customizations.

I am ordering Hujoo Pastels to use on my Hujoo Wawa. My pastel are just not working.  I am hoping to use them on my Skate Date also.

Hopefully, finished photos of Sally will be coming up! I need to get her finished before starting any other projects.

New Blythe Patterns!

Apparently cold weather, no internet, and the holidays has jump started my creative juices!

In the past two weeks I have developed six new patterns for Blythe garments.  I had no idea they were even floating around in my noggin.  Once I got started I couldn't stop!

Here the patterns are, if there is a story, I will include it:

Romper for Blythe
2.50 USD

Mohair Caplet for Blythe
2.50 USD

Angora Cape for Blythe
2.50 USD

Mohair Skirt for Blythe
2.50 USD

Mohair Coat for Blythe
3.50 USD

This pattern was designed to showcase the button.  It came from my grandmother's button jar.

Angora Coat for Blythe
3.50 USD

I have a new love for angora and mohair!

My internet company went belly up. :( So now we are shopping for a new provider.  I don't know when I will get plugged back in the the world wide web.

Brainworm Eye Chips

My Brainworm eye chips arrived!  I am placing Cool Cat foils behind them to pop the color.

My first Brainworm eye chips:

Left to Right: Light Grey, Aqua, Honey, Lime

Here is the first set in Fleur:

Fleur is getting the blue eye chips also.  I may be anal, but the shadow color and eye chips do not match.  The blue had a purple undertone and I expected green.  The color was called aqua after all.  I went ahead and used them, but may change in the future.

Overall, I really like the Brainworm eye chips. They seam smaller than Cool Cat's but I think it is an illusion.

I am curious if they will fit in Clone's eye sockets better.  I think I may try soon.

Wondering where the other 2 sets are going?  The lime green definitely belong to George (Friendly Freckles) and the honey were ordered for Ginger (Prima Dolly Ginger).

Fleur's fringe is awful.  I am going to consult with my stylist, aka my mom, with how to change it.

I have some news about Ginger actually.  I sand matted her face! It was nerve racking but successful. I was able to keep the eye shadow.  Hopefully photos coming soon.  It is so hot outside everything is dry and yucky looking.

Need a refresher about Ginger?  Here is the post Meet Ginger.

Here is Meet George, also.

Fleur and George

Simply Vanilla, Fleur

Friendly Freckles, George

Simply Vanilla and Friendly Freckles

I picked up Simply Vanilla from the post office today! Poor thing had to spend the weekend there.  I love her hair! It is so white and shimmery! She definitely suspicion she is a veela. Or, part veela, so her name is Fleur.  Even more fitting than my last Fleur.

I will get a photo up later!

Friendly Freckles was out for delivery when I checked! Yay! I think she will be George, also.  I really want a doll named George.  Photos coming soon too!
